how we helped

After 30+ years of industry-leading work, Straub Collaborative realized they didn’t have a dedicated place for all things Straub. Without a proper toolkit and guidance, their brand was becoming disjointed and disconnected. They needed a partner to help as they reflected on and realigned their mission, vision, and values.

We’re working with Straub to build a brand toolkit that streamlines workflow and facilitates collaboration with ease. A brand audit where we dive deep into who they are, where they’ve been, and how they want to grow is the first step. We’ve worked on projects that have helped us gain a better understanding of where they’re doing great and where there are opportunities to continue to grow.

seasonal summit

Each year three photography studios collaborate on the upcoming seasons for their shared athletic apparel client. These summits are opportunities to focus on shared goals and initiatives. This year, Straub hosted the studios and their client in Portland. The focus was on environment sustainability and inclusion - two of Straub’s leading values.

Straub needed help creating a visual campaign for the summit that would highlight the various cultures involved while also referencing environmental sustainability. We created a modular illustration system that is in line with Straub’s current brand and also allowed for iconography that references each studios location (Portland, Nuremberg, Bremen and Hong Kong). In addition to geographic references, we included elements that highlight nature and photography. This illustration was the foundation for the suite of campaign graphics and was used in various ways across mediums. We assisted with sourcing print vendors, communications and approvals. Deliverables included were PowerPoint presentations, digital display screens, workshop binders, notebooks, tumblers, zipper pouches, tote bags, hacky sacks, seed paper inserts and coasters, name tags, and in studio signage.

DEI signage

Earlier this year Straub rolled out an updated version of their mission, vision, and values. They’re committed to creating an equitable and inclusive workplace as well as leading by example in their industry. The Culture Team hit the ground running with the implementation of DEI signage in each of their studios.
