Action that comes from honest conversation is a powerful thing. YEA Collective was created after a dinner where strangers got vulnerable and talked about racism and racial inequity. The founding members of YEA wanted to bring a fresh perspective to community care that facilitiates more conversations that spark action.

The protest signs of the 1960's capture so much of the emotion of that time. We held that emotion while we explored how to merge the strength of the past with the energy of the present to create a space for connection and growth. You honor the past by not letting it get pushed to the back of the bookshelf. We celebrate those who came before us so we can continue demanding change.
